defining a grid, 2018
Defining a Grid is a series of 24 sheets of handmade paper. The pulp was made from 6 years worth of sketchbooks. The grids are created by laying in thread while the deckle is still submerged in the water, the distortions are formed by the movements of the water as the paper is being pulled. The resulting grids embody an entity normally thought to be standardised while encompassing the nuances of human limitation.
